Our current study, The Silent Disruption: A Transformative Learning Approach to Unexpected Job Loss, explores how adults experience and make meaning of unexpected job loss in today's AI-driven labour market, with a focus on professional identity, emotional transition, and the kinds of support that may help people move forward.

Participants may be eligible if they are 18 or older, live in the U.S. or Canada, were unexpectedly laid off within the past 12 months, and were working full-time at the time. Participation includes a brief screening survey and, if eligible, a 60-minute Zoom interview. Participation is voluntary and confidential.
